Admissions

The Sindh Institute of Health, Technology & Sciences (SIHAT) will be open to all academically qualified candidates without consideration to gender; religion, race and color, there are no quotas, reserved seats or admissions for special people.

Admission at (SIHAT) is purely based on merit and potential for leadership. Merit will be assessed by several criteria including scholastic achievements, performance on an admission test and interviews, productive use of time and other experiences indicating potential for leadership. The gender ratio for admission to the BSN will be according to the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PN&MC) policy.

Eligibility Criteria


• BS Nursing: Requires FSc (Pre-Medical) with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Post RN BS Nursing: Requires a Diploma in Nursing (or Midwifery) with at least one year of experience.
• LHV Diploma: Requires HSSC/Intermediate (Pre-Medical) or Matric (Science) with a minimum of 45% marks and is open to female candidates only.

Entry Test:

All applicants are required to take an entry test, which serves as an essential step in our admissions process. Details on the date, time, and location of the test will be provided on your admit card. A passing score of 50% is required to proceed to the interview stage.

TEST COMPONENTS:

  • BSN Generic Degree Program: The test comprises sections in English language, Mathematics Reasoning, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. 

Required Documents

1. Matric and Intermediate Certificates along with Mark Sheets

2. Copy of Intermediate marks sheet (for BS Nursing candidates)

3. Migration certificate (required for non-Karachi board applicants)

4. Domicile Certificate

5. Original CNIC and a copy of Father/Guardian’s CNIC

6. Recent Photographs (10 copies)

7. Additional documents for Post RN BSN (e.g., NOC, Experience Certificate, Valid PNC Card)
